We made the mistake of bringing way too much stuff. We're former RV'ers so we're learning. Leave your chairs at home, you don't them. A first aid kit is available in the cabin as well as a stand up fan. Leave your grill at home. The ones at the cabins are clean & in great shape. The bed is comfy, the A/C works great. The bathroom is big. The place is super clean & well stocked. It felt like we were the 1st ones to stay there when we walked in. The owners are great - they take care of your needs & allow you to enjoy your vacation. It is impossible to take good enough pictures to show you how nice this place really is.
This was fantastic. Cottage/Cabin was wonderful! Superb! Magnificently clean inside and outside. Furnishings were great! Had everything we needed - supplied to us. The little pond had great fishing opportunities for some small exciting catches one after another but we also snagged some big ones that were so big they broke our lines. We just got back from a 6 night stay in Saddle, the middle cabin. Six nights were not long enough. My husband enjoyed fishing and having his boat nearby tied up to the dock at the property. I enjoyed walking the dogs on the property & watching deer feed at the feeder near the lake, sitting at the dock reading a book, and watching the fireflies at dusk. We also enjoyed relaxing at the dock as well as the pond & the cabin. We took longer walks around the neighborhood turning right out of the property. For fisherman, there is electricity near the cabin and the the dock to charge your boat batteries. There is a water hose outside the cabin if you need to use it. Since the kitchen in the 1 bedroom is an efficiency kitchen, I did bring my griddle & we cooked breakfast outside at the picnic table. Bring extension cords. We went bowling (a vacation tradition) at Seven Points and had another breakfast at McClain's in Seven Points which was the best breakfast I have ever eaten out.
Loved this place! Quiet, Clean cabins, great fishing in their pond or the lake, super nice staff they go out of the way to make sure tou are comfortable and really make you feel welcome.
We stayed in the Saddle cabin, it was wonderful!! The cabins are first class, and everything is so clean! Sam and Andy are very helpful, letting us know if there is anything we need, to please just let them know, its quite, you just walk right to the lake and fish, they truly have thought of everything, just a little piece of heaven, we are making plans to go back and stay in October.
We spent celebrating our 12th Anniversary here (and a much needed get away) and what a winner did we pick!! Sam makes you feel comfortable the moment you arrive and goes out of the way to make sure everything is 100% satisfactory the moment you arrive. They have everything there that you need, you only need to bring your clothes and some food. There's a small kitchen, frig, sink, all the kitchen utensils you need to cook. They even provided the charcoal to BBQ! Very clean inside with fresh linens, towels there's just nothing to complain about. We will definitely be coming back! There's plenty of parking if you want to bring your boat and you can even launch it down the road and then dock is there on the property. If you're looking for a place to stay look no further!
